Under Settings you will find Labels. Labels are internal tags to add to conversations and contacts.
Attached to conversations, labels allow you to quickly see what a conversation is about or what category a contact falls into. You can also give a conversation extra priority if it has a specific label attached to it. Labels can also be found in the Insights reports.
Attached to contacts, labels allow you to quickly see a status of a contact. It can also be pushed by an intregration, such as your CRM system. When a label is attached to a contact, they will automatically be added to a dynamic list which makes it easy to pro-actively communicate with these contacts.
