The integration connects Spotler Mail+ audience management capabilities with the omnichannel messaging functionality of Spotler Message.

After configuration, Spotler Mail+ can:

  1. Synchronize dynamic audiences to Spotler Message
  2. Keep audience data automatically updated
  3. Synchronize custom fields for message personalization

1. Synchronize dynamic audiences to Spotler Message

Dynamic lists created and managed within Spotler Mail+ become available directly inside Spotler Message. Users can access these audiences via Lists in the Campaigns module, by filtering on Mail+

This allows marketers to immediately use Mail+ audiences for SMS and WhatsApp campaigns.

Examples include:

  • Newsletter subscribers
  • Customers matching specific profile criteria
  • Contacts who completed forms
  • Audiences based on campaign behaviour
  • Automation-driven customer segments

2. Keep audience data automatically updated

Dynamic lists in Mail+ automatically update based on customer behaviour, profile data, form submissions, campaigns, automations, and other segmentation criteria.

Why this is useful?

Because the audience is managed in Mail+, Spotler Message always uses the most recent version of the customer segment. This removes the need for manual exports and imports between systems.

3. Synchronize custom fields for message personalization

Custom fields from Mail+ can be synchronized to Spotler Message and used as dynamic placeholders within SMS and WhatsApp messages.

Examples include:

  • First name
  • Customer ID
  • Loyalty status
  • Preferred store
  • Subscription preferences
  • Appointment dates
  • Custom CRM fields

This allows organizations to create highly personalized messaging campaigns using customer data managed within Mail+.

How do you enable the Spotler Mail+ integration with Spotler Message?

To configure the integration between Spotler Mail+ and Spotler Message, the following requirements apply.

Requirement  
Both Spotler products Your organization needs to own a Spotler Message and a Spotler Mail+ account
Spotler Message In Spotler Message, a WhatsApp and/or SMS channel needs to be available
Authentication key Generated within Spotler Mail+.
Authentication secret Generated within Spotler Mail+.

Step 1: Generate authentication credentials in Mail+

You can generate the credentials directly within Mail+ yourself, by following these steps:

  1. In Spotler Mail+, go to Settings.
  2. Go to the Integrations tab click the New authentication button.
  3. Select My system is not listed.
  4. Enter Spotler Message as the system name.
  5. Generate the credentials.

Step 2: Share the credentials with Spotler

Provide the following information to the Spotler Message team:

  • Authentication key
  • Authentication secret

The Spotler Message team will then configure the integration for you.

What is the result?

After the integration is configured, dynamic audiences maintained in Spotler Mail+ become directly available within Spotler Message.

Organizations can use automatically updated customer segments for SMS and WhatsApp campaigns while maintaining audience management in a single platform.

In addition, synchronized custom fields can be used to personalize outbound communication with customer-specific information originating from Mail+.

This enables more relevant messaging campaigns, improved audience targeting, and consistent customer data across both Spotler products.
