In the Campaigns module, you can send a single message to a large group of contacts, or list, all at once. This feature supports various use cases, including automating messages, managing contact lists, scheduling messages, sending personalized content, and analyzing campaign results.
Campaigns are available for the channels WhatsApp and SMS. These are the only channels that permit companies to initiate a conversation. For WhatsApp, starting with a template is mandatory. More information on templates can be found in the article Settings Quick replies.
The module contains two main sections: Outbox and Lists. On the Lists page you manage your lists and you start a new campaign.
Overview Outbox
In the Outbox section, you can view all campaigns associated with the channels you have access to. This section displays details and reports for the campaigns you have launched. Campaigns are initiated in the Lists section.
When you click on a campaign, the following details appear under the Overview header:
- Campaign ID
- Sent date
- Creation date
- User who sent the campaign
- Channel used
- Target list
Additionally, there is an Insights section. Here, you can see how many contacts received the message. For WhatsApp campaigns, you can also view the number of contacts who read the message (if they haven't disabled this feature) and the estimated costs that WhatsApp will charge your WABA (WhatsApp Business Account).
To remove a campaign from the overview, use the Delete button in the top right. This action only removes the campaign from your view; it does not delete the message received by the contact. Once sent, messages cannot be recalled.
There is also a Download button. Use this to download campaign results in CSV or JSON, which can then be imported into an external dashboard, if desired.
